At the Equinox the ecliptic and the equator, the path of the sun and the circumference of the Earth, unite for one day. This is the marriage of the Sun and the Earth. This creates a day and night of equal length as the revolution of the Earth is perfectly balanced. At the Vernal Equinox this coincides with the rebirth of the land from winter.

The Sunchild has now grown into the Sun King. In this ritual meditation recording you will be guided through an operation in which the Sun King and Earth Queen are united, quite literally in the macrocosm at the equinox, symbolically in the guided visualizations, and within your own body through your conscious participation and even rather automatically through the technology embedded in this recording.

The use of this recording will ground and manifest the energies raised at the Solstice as we move forward into the growing time of the year.

You may wish to conduct oracles, Tarot, I Ching, Bibliomancy, pendulum work, or simply opening yourself to a visionary flow at the conclusion of the recording. This is a long-standing equinox tradition.

As an additional, optional ending, you may also wish to set up an altar and have the following symbols of the elements: A rose, a red candle, a glass of wine, a plate or pantacle with a small cake or bread on it.

At the end of the recording, go to your altar and say, "It is an immemorial custom that every action on the inner planes must have its corresponding action in the outer. I have experienced an inner sacrament, and now I will partake of the outer sacrament that has been prepared."

"Before me are the four elements of nature. (Take up the rose, sniffing it) This is my thoughts; I will make them sweet and strong. (Take up the candle, feeling its heat) This is my will; I will burn brightly. (Take up the wine and drink) This is my heart; I will let it flow freely to all who have need. (Take up cake, and eat) This is my body; I will nourish everyone with kindness. Thus is the fourfold sacrament accomplished, and this work complete."

Those familiar with the above ceremonial fragment may also wish to add the opening segment of it, although this is not necessary.
