More InfoThis is a very unique item for some Thelemite out there. It is a wooden stele that Jason Augustus Newcomb painted 7 or 8 years ago. It is almost exactly to the scale of the original that inspired Crowley's "Book of the Law." It is a big solid piece, 3/4 inch thick and coated with many layers of patina to give it an aged and textured look like the original. What makes this stele so special is that while the size and shape are almost identical to the original, Newcomb took quite a few liberties with the style of the figures on the stele, rendering them in the distinctive style that he was painting with at that period, and that you see in the diagrams in his book "Sexual Sorcery."
The reverse side looks much like the original, as it is just hieroglyphs. Newcomb did an amazing job of recreating the colors you see on the stele and we know there is a Thelemic New Hermeticist out there who would like this very unique piece! (The "Law is for All" is there as a size reference only and will not be included. Shipping is free within the U.S. but a small additional charge may need to be assessed for an international buyer).
